It’s a great place to visit if you want a quick bite to eat which isn’t a sandwich or lukewarm soup! After helping ourselves to too much pasta we took our pre-booked executive car and headed over to Liberty London. I try to go to Liberty at the beginning of every season, both to catch the limited edition pieces of clothing before they sell out and, to take a look at their curation of brands as they stock pieces that you normally wouldn’t find anywhere else in London. I picked up a couple of items and after Alexia spent a little too long in the stationary section we headed out to explore the new Dover Street Market Store, which recently moved.

The new store is awesome and definitely worth a look, the first floor is filled with accessories and fragrances in vintage display cabinets, which even if you don’t buy anything is a good place for inspiration. Alexia ended up picking up the Black Comme des Garçons fragrance as she’d recently found it on a trip and Dover Street Market was the only place we’d found it since. After grabbing a coffee upstairs, Alexia and I decided to head home. We were able to e-hail a black cab back to the station.

Throughout the day we used the Karhoo app to easily choose and book cabs from wherever we ended up, the great thing is that it pools different cab companies together so you’re able to get a variety of cars from a mini cab through to a black cab and if you’re feeling like you want to travel in style they’ve got executive cars too. Alexia and I tried all three and found it really easy to get around using the app. It’s definitely a convenient way to travel!
