At the beginning of April Alexia and I were fortunate enough to be invited by IWC Schaffhausen to the 77th annual Member’s Meeting at Goodwood Race Track. It’s a big weekend in the IWC calendar as not only do they have their own enclosure they also unveiled their new team vehicle the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing driven by David Coulthard.

I was wearing the Pilot’s Watch Automatic Spitfire for the day which was fitting as they had the IWC Spitfire due to fly around the world within their private enclosure at the track.

It’s a place with so much heritage which was clear to see when we were taken on the paddock tour. We met a few of the driver’s whose classic cars had been passed down through their families through generations and were still competing annually at Goodwood.

As I mentioned, IWC’s racing team also unveiled their car for the season which is a Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing. To be driven by David Coulthard who actually went onto win 1st place in the Tony Gaze Trophy!

Alexia and I had such a brilliant day, I really enjoyed putting this post together and looking back at the images we captured. Thank you again to IWC for inviting us, we really did have the best time.

The Silver Spitfire also begins it's journey from London on the 5th August, which will create aviation history with the first round-the-world-flight, aptly named as ‘The Longest Flight’ IWC Schaffhausen have been the sponsors behind this epic expedition! You follow along here.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I'll see you in the comments section
