This has to be one of the best Christmas presents I have ever received, my good friend Nicole bought me an afternoon tea at BRGR.CO in Soho. I'm already a massive fan of classic English afternoon tea, but when you start adding burgers and cheesecake it's goes to a whole new level! I wasn't really sure what to expect from an afternoon tea at a burger joint but I was very impressed with how they packaged it.

They begin by explaining exactly what you are going to be served, it is a set menu so I would imagine there is little room for change, but saying that, everything was pretty damn tasty! You're served a traditional Ice Tea and Prosecco Bellini to drink (both were great). Then they bring you a tray of delicious mini treats, which included three mini burgers, 1 beef, 1 chicken and 1 lobster; my favourite was the chicken; you also get a tiny portion of fries on the side.  Moving onto dessert, you get a small shot glass portion of cheesecake and another one filled with vanilla milkshake and to finish everything off with a small square of chocolate brownie and a tiny salted caramel doughnut. I really loved the way the whole meal was served, as you can see from the images above you all got your individual trays with their separate sections; it was a nice touch I thought.

Overall, I had a great experience and I think it's a clever concept - I was worried at the start that it wasn't enough food, but I can assure you it's more than enough and it was nice having a mixture of flavours at this type of restaurant as opposed to a massive burger and fries. I would definitely recommend a visit to BRGR.CO and would 100% suggest going for the afternoon tea too! Make sure you have good company like I did, it's definitely an experience to share with good friends!

Also, be sure to check out Nicole's baking blog: www.afternooncrumb.com as it's amazing and you will want to eat everything she bakes!
